"The Power," is the most commonly accepted term for "magic" in the Lost Realm. Power wielders are too rare and too diverse to fulfill a consistent niche in modern society, but organized casters and specific individuals have done much to change the course of history. Usage of the Power is restricted in many regions and outlawed in some, but many other factions endorse it or even require it as a basis for membership. Certain forms of the Power are considered distasteful, such as the Dark Radiance, but many forms are intended to be beneficial to society.
